On April 21, 2023, believers of the UOC in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra received the Holy Gifts through the bars.

Today the temple in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God "Life-Giving Spring" in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra celebrates a patronal feast. For this reason, a large number of believers came to pray in the temple.

According to the novice of the temple, after the beginning of the service, law enforcement officers came. They did not like that many people gathered for the liturgy and therefore ordered to close the gate leading to his territory.

The parishioners, who did not catch up with the beginning of the service, were forced to pray outside the fence of the temple. At the end of the liturgy, the priests came out to confess and give communion to everyone.

As a result, the Sacrament of Confession and the Sacrament of Communion were administered through a closed gate.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the police blocked Building 39 of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
