On April 23, 2023, there was a conflict in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. A flag-wielding activist aggressively demanded from a Swiss cleric, Dominic Milko, that he pick up the Ukrainian flag. The conflict was filmed by a UOJ correspondent.
"If you love Ukraine, take the flag," the activist solemnly told Dominic. The latter replied that he loved the Lord God. "Take the flag, quick!” insisted the activist. “Speak Ukrainian, you f*cking Moskal!".
When the activist was told that there was a Swiss resident in front of him, he walked away saying, "Okay, you priest. You stinking Swiss".
The “1 Kozak” website reported that the activist was Ruslan Hetman, a fraudster who collected money from residents of the Ternopil region on behalf of the “Brotherhood of Orphans of Ukraine” charity organization. Previously, Hetman was caught in a scandal when he, posing as a military man, tried to obtain payments from the Ternopil authorities.
"The photo he depicts himself with a weapon. In fact, he has never held a weapon in his hands. He was hiding behind the backs of other fighters. He did not receive a concussion, that is, he made "fake documents" for himself. In view of the above, we appeal to law enforcement agencies, including the military prosecutor's office, to bring the latter to justice. Anyone who knows this "scum" should at least punch him in the eye when they meet him so that he does not hide behind people who are defending Ukraine with honour and dignity," the head of the NGO “Ternopilski Pidsumki” Taras Bilan said of Hetman.
As earlier reported, a Uniat came to Lavra with a flag to "burn these devils".
