On May 9, with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, Metropolitan Filaret of Lviv and Galicia met with the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus, Archbishop Georgios of Cyprus. The meeting is reported by the Metropolitan Filaret’s Telegram channel.
According to the publication, a number of interfaith and church-state issues were considered at the meeting.
Earlier, congratulating the faithful on Easter, Metropolitan Filaret noted that the impossibility of celebrating the holiday in churches is the cross that the Lord sent to the believers of the Lviv diocese.
