Svyatogorsk Lavra to host “People of Peace” Forum

On August 17, 2020, the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church at its meeting, which took place at the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra under the chairmanship of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, decided to hold the "People of Peace" Forum at the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra, reports the UOC Information and Education Department.

As noted, the Holy Synod decided to continue the peacemaking initiatives of the UOC to end the armed conflict in the Donbass.

In this regard, it was decided to hold the “People of Peace” Forum in September 2020 at the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra.

As the UOJ reported, a meeting of the Holy Synod of the UOC was held at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
