On June 20, 2023, in the village of Uladivka, Vinnytsia region, raiders of the OCU took over the Dormition Church of the UOC, reports the Vinnytsia Eparchy on Facebook, publishing a video of the seizure.
The footage shows a group of men using an angle grinder and a crowbar to break open the doors of the church. The text said that the seizure took place in the presence of the SBU and police officers.
The worshippers wrote a statement to the law enforcement authorities about the seizure.
"It is very sad that such blatant raiding still takes place in our country during the war, when people, including believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, die defending our country," the eparchy’s message says.
As earlier reported, the Vinnytsia Eparchy commented on the MPs' demand to ban the UOC.
