Two Hassidic Jews, who had made a row at Tzadik Rabbi Nachman's burial site in Uman and broken the metal fences installed there, were expelled from Ukraine, reports Radio Liberty referring to Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko.
“The National Police and the Migration Service decided to expel from Ukraine the two most aggressive Israeli citizens, the instigators of the riots,” Gerashchenko said and added that similar measures will be taken against other foreigners in the event of hooliganism.
At the same time, the State Migration Service reported the expulsion of only one Israeli citizen, who is obliged to leave Ukraine by September 25 (Rosh Hashanah is celebrated this year from 18 to 20 September, – Ed.).
As reported, on September 10, 2020, the Hasidim destroyed the protective fences installed on the grave of tzaddik Rabbi Nachman to minimize the risk of the coronavirus spread among pilgrims.
