On July 9, 2023, in Borodianka, Kyiv region, supporters of the OCU held territorial gatherings and transferred the church of St. Archangel Michael to the OCU.
This was reported in the Kyiv.Politics telegram channel.
At the same time, the lawyer of the UOC, who tried to stop the illegal voting, was not allowed to speak. The activists began to shout "Provocateur", "Get the Moscow priest out!" Then the “priest” of the OCU drove her away, and the police forcibly took the lawyer out.
The report added that instead of Archpriest Viktor Talko, the “priest” of the OCU Dimitry was appointed rector of the church in Borodianka.
As previously reported by the UOJ, the Kyiv Metropolis of the UOC is concerned about the fate of the rector of the church in Borodianka.
