The police and supporters of the OCU, who had seized the Transfiguration Cathedral in Bila Tserkva, did not let a parishioner into the church – a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who is now undergoing treatment after two wounds at the front. This is reported by the Pershy Kozatsky Telegram channel.

It is noted that the serviceman with the "Historian" call sign has been a parishioner of the cathedral since childhoood.

“Having heard about the lawlessness committed by the raiders from the OCU and Hopainych today, “Historian” came to defend his church,” inform the Pershy Kozatsky journalists. “Police officers did not let the warrior into the temple grounds.”

Law enforcers justified the restrictions by the fact that “investigative actions are being carried out” on the territory of the cathedral.

The military wrote a statement to the police in connection with the illegal obstruction of movement.

As the UOJ reported, on the morning of July 10, 2023, OCU activists forcibly seized the cathedral with the assistance of the police. Parishioners were not allowed into the temple even during the air raid, although there is a bomb shelter in its basement.
