“Consideration of the claim of the Reserve against the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra monastery for the eviction of the brethren, which took place on July 20 in the Economic Court of Kiev, was postponed to August 9,” one of the inhabitants of the Lavra, Hierodeacon Pavel, said in the Lavra Now telegram channel.

He thanked everyone who came to court to support the brethren. “The Lord is merciful to us through you,” said the monk.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the police did not allow the monks of the Lavra to attend the court session on the eviction of the brethren from the monastery. Later, after protests from the lawyers of the Lavra, the monks were eventually allowed into the courtroom.
