Vinnytsia region authorities ban cross procession to Pochaiv Lavra

Chairman of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration Serhiy Borzov and the commander of the tactical group "Vinnytsia" Ivan Haraz signed a document "On the prohibition of processions and demonstrations, mass religious events outside the cult religious buildings".
The document was published on the website of the Vinnytsia RMA.
The document states that "in order to preserve security and peace in the region, life and health of citizens" it is prohibited to hold a cross procession to the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra within the region.
"District military administration chiefs are instructed to communicate the requirements of this order to the leaders of all religious denominations in the districts and take measures to ensure the enforcement of the imposed ban," as stated on the website of the Regional Military Administration.
Serhiy Borzov retains control over the implementation of this order.
As previously reported, Khmelnytskyi region authorities banned a cross procession to the Pochaiv Lavra.
