On his Facebook page, the Transcarpathian “bishop” of the OCU Volodymyr (Varsonofy) Rudnik called the Greek Catholic priest Roman Kurakh a “rashist” and urged that he be expelled from the country for his words about the “fraternal peoples” of Ukraine and Russia.
Rudnik said that "in this Russian-Ukrainian war, there is only one great and wonderful people" – Ukrainians, "who will never 'embrace' their murderers."
Rudnik also called on the leadership of the Greek Catholics to give a "proper and fair" assessment of Roman Kurakh’s statements.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the Uniate priest was hated for his words about the reconciliation of Ukrainians and Russians.
