On Independence Day, UOC eparchies to pray for Ukraine and fallen soldiers

On 24 August 2023, with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, the churches and monasteries of the UOC will pray for Ukraine, its authorities, warriors and the entire Ukrainian people, reports the press service of the UOC.

It is noted that the relevant letter has already been sent to the UOC eparchies.

In addition, on Independence Day memorial services for the dead and deceased defenders of Ukraine will be performed in the parishes and monasteries of the UOC.

As reported, Metropolitan Augustine prayed for Ukraine with AFU soldiers on the front line.
