The monk of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, Hierodeacon Pavel, called the believers to the prayer standing near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra at 16 o'clock, reports the Telegram channel "Lavra Now".

"We will defend our shrine every day: for the brethren, for our parishioners," the monastery's resident said.

"Our Church has a 1,000-year history. And here (in the Lavra – Ed.) we walk on holy stones, this is not a reserve," said parishioner Lidia.

Addressing Zelensky, she recalled that he was elected by the people and he has no right to commit lawlessness towards his voters.

As reported, the Ministry of Culture officially banned teachers and students of KDAiS from entering the Lavra.
