On November 19, the condition of the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Irinej, worsened sharply and the doctors connected him to life support equipment.
The head of the SOC is in a serious condition at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, reports the Serbian Internet edition “Novosti”.
The Council of Serbian Doctors, assisted by colleagues from Russia, has been fighting for the life of Patriarch Irinej since 3.50 at night.
He had previously developed symptoms and signs of exacerbation of chronic heart failure.
As reported, the condition of the hospitalized Patriarch Irinej of Serbia has worsened.
