VR begins to consider the draft law on banning UOC

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine started to review Draft Law No. 8371, which provides for the ban on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This information was shared by a source within the Verkhovna Rada with the UOJ.
It is expected that Mykola Kniazhytskyi, a Member of Parliament from "European Solidarity," will speak on behalf of the party. Artem Dmytruk is planning to address the MPs who support the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
As previously reported by the UOJ, MP Iryna Herashchenko from "European Solidarity" stated that Ukraine's allies had expressed concern over the ban on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
