On October 29, 2023, the leader of the OCU, Epifaniy Dumenko, told the head of the Chernivtsi RMA that his structure is the only one "canonically grounded" in Ukraine.
Epifaniy Dumenko met with Ruslan Zaparaniuk, the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration, and the rector of the Yuri Fedkovych National University of Chernivtsi.
According to the official website of the OCU, during the meeting, among other things, they discussed the "irreversible process of unification of Ukrainian Orthodoxy".
Dumenko stated that "the autocephalous Orthodox Church of Ukraine is the only possible and canonically grounded community in Ukraine."
He assured his interlocutors that the OCU is "truly uniting all Orthodox believers in our country"/
"Although this process is not yet complete, its course clearly indicates that it is successful and has a real prospect," Epifaniy believes.
Earlier, Dumenko stated that in the end, everyone will be part of the OCU, whether they want to or not.
