Erdogan calls conversion of Hagia Sophia into a mosque the "crown" of 2020

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan considers the change in the status of Hagia Sophia to a mosque to be the crown of the past year, reports Kathimerini.gr.

On the first day of the new year, the President of Turkey took part in the Friday Muslim prayer at the Hagia Sophia. After leaving the mosque, he answered questions from journalists.

According to Erdogan, the conversion of Sophia into a mosque was the "crown" of the past year, which was "full of pain for all mankind".

As reported, earlier Erdogan said that Europe is preparing its end by attacks on Muslims.
