Avrahamiy Lotysh, a former monk of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and now the "acting abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra" of the OCU, published on his Facebook an image of Christ in embroidered vestments. The halo of the Saviour bears abstract patterns instead of the traditional acronym "IC XC, ΙΣ ΧΣ" (Jesus Christ) or "ΙΧΘΥΣ" (Jesus Christ the Son of God the Saviour).

Lotysh accompanied his "icon" with the following text: "Whatever sinner stands before you, do not throw stones at him, but remember that God wants to save him and the devil seeks to destroy him. Therefore it is for each of us to choose which side to be on..."

Lotysh did not specify which side he is on.

As earlier reported, Dumenko changed his mind about following the Julian calendar at the Lavra.
