Met. Augustine consecrates vehicle for evacuation of wounded AFU soldiers

On 13 November 2023, on the day of memory of Righteous Peter Kalnyshevsky, Metropolitan Augustine of Bila Tserkva consecrated a new car for the evacuation from the battlefield of wounded Ukrainian defenders, reports the press service of the Synodal Department of the UOC for Interaction with the AFU.

The evacuation vehicle will be handed over to medics of the Foundation for Support of Defenders of Ukraine, headed by Archpriest Vyacheslav Yakovenko.

The rite of consecration of the car was held near the Resurrection (Afghan) Church of the UOC near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

As reported, the UOC believers prayed at the Lavra in front of the relics of Righteous Peter Kalnyshevskyi.
