The Ukrainian Ministry of Health has officially introduced an additional "unknown gender" in the appointment forms for laboratory testing for COVID-19 material. This was stated by the Office of Medical Support of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News reported.
The authority specified in its reply to the news agency's request that the form was approved by the Order of the Ministry of Healthcare No.722 dd. 28.03.2020 "Organization of medical care for patients with coronavirus disease (COVID-19)".
The published sample form indicates that Ukrainians who are tested for coronavirus are now requested to indicate their gender as male, female or unknown.
Recall that on September 12, 2020, Ukraine received official status as a member of the Biarritz Partnership. Experts believe that the initiatives of this international project, aimed at achieving so-called gender equality, are a threat to traditional values. The Church, which shares the concern of Ukrainian society about the promotion of gender, called to monitor the work of the "Partnership".
Earlier, Ukrainian Education Minister Sergei Shkarlet said that textbooks for Ukrainian schoolchildren are being redesigned to take into account gender equality.
