Largest menorah in Europe lit in Maidan

The ambassadors of Austria and Britain took part in the menorah lighting ceremony.

On 7 December 2023, the largest Jewish menorah in Europe was installed and lit in Maidan to celebrate the Hanukkah holiday, reports "NV". Ambassadors of Great Britain and Austria took part in the lighting ceremony. And the world's largest silver menorah was installed in Dnipro.

The Jews of Kyiv were congratulated on Hanukkah by Kyiv Mayor V. Klitschko. He said that the Ukrainian and Jewish peoples "honourably overcome all the trials and fight for peace in their lands".

As reported, the SBU conducted searches in the Pochaiv Lavra because the honour of Jews was offended there.
