Pope Francis stated that migrants can help overcome the demographic crisis in Italy, but only if they "integrate well into the social fabric". He made these remarks during an audience in the Vatican, as reported by Vatican News.

The head of the Roman Catholic Church noted that migrants can pose a threat only if they fail to undergo the integration process.

At the same time, according to the pontiff, if migrants "fit in" with society, they become important assistance for the country in the face of declining birth rates.

As reported by the UOJ, the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church spoke about the danger of migrants to the spiritual core of the Russian world.
