During the prayer standing near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra on 11 December 2023, UOC parishioner Lubov urged Orthodox Christians to find time to participate in joint prayer at the walls of the shrine.

"This is where the heart belongs," the believer said in a comment to KozakTV1. “You come to this prayer service – let it be for 10 minutes, for 15, 20, half an hour – but you feel so warm, light and joyful! I want our children to be able to come here and receive the same prayer support and help. Because without prayer, without God's support, we will not survive. That is why it is necessary to come to protect our shrine. I believe that you can find half an hour and come here to pray, to ask God's blessing both for our soldiers and for our children. Find this time, come. The shrine must be defended and protected!"

As reported, on 8 December 2023, a participant of the service near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra called on the UOC faithful to join the daily prayer standing near the walls of the monastery.
