In the Sejm, an MP puts out Jewish menorah with a fire extinguisher

On December 12, 2023, in the Polish Sejm, Confederation Party MP Grzegorz Braun extinguished the candles of the menorah with a powder fire extinguisher, RMF24 reported.

In this way, Braun was protesting against the performance of a Jewish ritual in parliament.

Before the incident, he had published a statement in his X that "there can be no place in the premises of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland for acts of racist, tribal, savage, Talmudic worship."

Braun was kicked out of the meeting. The MP faces a fine, he was also banned from speaking from the podium.

Earlier the UOJ wrote that in the Office of the President, Zelensky lit a menorah with Jews.
