According to Igor Chudovsky, the lawyer of Metropolitan Jonathan of Tulchyn and Bratslav, the Security Service of Ukraine has put linguistic investigations against the UOC "on stream".
In an interview with "Dozor na Pershy Kozatsky", Chudovsky revealed that, according to one of the linguistic experts, "Security Service personnel have launched linguistic investigations into articles (in Orthodox media - Ed.) about inciting enmity by the representative of the UOC."
The lawyer of Metropolitan Jonathan stated that, under the current political circumstances, other linguists who could challenge or simply verify the findings of the SBU's "linguistic expertise" refuse to do so.
According to him, casting doubt on "linguistic expertise" commissioned by authorities is challenging because an independent expert refuses to conduct an impartial examination.
Earlier, the UOC reported that the evidence had surfaced online showing how the SBU falsifies the case against a hierarch of the UOC.
