During an attempt to seize the temple of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Zadubrivka, Chernivtsi region, the believers endured thanks to a miracle, a parishioner of St. Michael's Church told a journalist of the "Vitrazhi" YouTube channel.
Supporters of the OCU let tear gas into the church and tried to cut the locks off with a grinder, the UOC believer recalled. According to her, a miracle stopped the aggressive actions of the schismatics.
“My sister and three other women were here, they took the crucifix and put it on the door,” the parishioner said with tears. “As soon as they put the Crucifixion – immediately the saw broke! At the same moment!"
After that, the attackers no longer knew what to do, and as a result, the seizure failed, the woman said.
“What a miracle, do you understand? The crucifix – and everything, everything became different. Our Church, our faith is our Mother,” she exclaimed emotionally.
As reported, the parishioners of the persecuted UOC community in Zadubrivka have been guarding the church against raiders for the third year in a row and told the details of the OCU militants' attack at the Congress “The Faithful”.
