MP from "Servant of the People" Oleksandr Aliksiychuk stated that the second reading of the bill to ban the UOC will be voted on in February 2024, dedicating it to the second anniversary of the Russian invasion. He said this in an interview with the public organization "Holka".

The MP also expressed hope that the bill to ban the UOC would be included in the agenda of the next session of the Rada.

In addition, Aliksiychuk believes that banning the UOC is a struggle for faith that cannot be lost due to "personal interests or relationships with someone."

At the same time, MP Nikita Poturaev stated that the humanitarian committee of the Rada would consider bill No. 8371 on banning the UOC on January 26.

As reported by the UOJ, Stefanchuk denied MPs the transfer of the law on the UOC to the "Venice Commission".
