On February 23, 2024, MP Artem Dmytruk met with lawyer Robert Amsterdam, who defends the UOC at the international level.

Artem Dmytruk reported on his Telegram channel that various legal issues and cases of their systemic violation were discussed at the meeting.

According to the people’s deputy, the position of American society remains unchanged: "The rights of citizens, the choice of religion, language of communication and freedom of speech are fundamental values for the entire democratic community."

He also believes that American politicians want to see the observance of the basic values of the civilized world in Ukraine.

As earlier reported, Amsterdam accused Channel 5 of lying.
