EU unblocks €2bn for Hungary for meeting 'gender' conditions

The European Union has unblocked €2 billion to Hungary, Bloomberg reports on 1 March 2024, referring to European Commission spokesman Stefan de Keersmaecker.

Keersmaecker said The European Commission unlocked the latest tranche after Hungary met so-called thematic conditions relating to “educational training” and “gender equality”.

As reported, new UOC communities appeared in Hungary and Germany.
