Odesa Eparchy to provide aid to victims of 2 March strike

The Odesa Eparchy of the UOC will provide all necessary aid and receive in the monastery victims of the Russian night strike on a residential building in Odesa on 2 March 2024, reports the eparchy’s press service on Facebook.

The eparchy also noted that their clergy continue to pray at the Kasper Icon of the Mother of God and ask for Her protection.
On the night of 2 March, a multi-storey building in Odesa was partially destroyed after a Russian Shahed hit. The rescue operation lasted several days, as a result of which it became known about 12 dead, of which 5 were children. The youngest child was 4 months old.
As previously reported, on the anniversary of the Russian invasion, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church prayed for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and all Ukrainians.
