A priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church at the prayer standing near the walls of the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery expressed hope that the Lord would preserve the Lavra and its brethren.
After the prayer service, which is held at the walls of the shrine every day, the priest of the UOC thanked the believers for standing in faith and for the fact that they continue, despite the difficult weather conditions, to prayerfully support the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
According to him, the believers hope that the Lord will show His mercy and preserve the Lavra and its brethren.
Earlier the UOJ wrote that a parishioner showed what Lavra looks like now.
