Ivano-Frankivsk mayor's security and law enforcement adviser, former police officer Nazariy Kishak, is calling for the UOC monasteries to be "purged" and all priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church expelled from the city. In his post on his Facebook page, to which he attaches the tag "death to enemies", Kishak points to the church of the Savior Transfiguration of the Ivano-Frankivsk Diocese, calling it a "specific religious institution" and a "monastery".

It is necessary to "purge" and double-check all Moscow monasteries in the territory not only of the Pre-Carpathian region, but also of the whole of Ukraine until a blow is struck in the back from there! One of such specific religious institutions is the ROC monastery in Chornovola St., in the heart of Frankivsk,” wrote Ruslan Martsynkiv, an adviser to the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk and a member of the Svoboda nationalist party.

In comments to his post, he writes that "such werewolves in robes have no place in our city," and "we will expel the Muscovites from our land."

Kishak "likes" the comment "Let's hit Art. 35 of the Constitution of Ukraine with the mace of nationalism! Hooray!" and writes that this article on religious freedom must be ignored.

As reported by the UOJ, the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsynkiv posted a video of how the "priests" of the OCU sang the nationalist song "Our Father Bandera" about the insurgents beating the "Muscovites".
