UOC temple in Dnipro damaged by shelling

On March 22, 2024, after shelling by Russian forces in Dnipro, the church of the UOC of the Righteous Simeon the God-Receiver in the Zapadny residential area was damaged, according to the press service of the UOC Dnipropetrovsk Diocese.
Holy icons were hit by the blast wave in the church, and a cross was damaged.
The church is located in a residential area where, according to the local administration, 10 multi-story buildings were damaged as a result of the rocket attack.
It is reported that as a result of the morning shelling by Russian forces, energy facilities in the Dniprovsky, Kryvyi Rih, Pavlohrad, and Kamianske districts were affected. Windows were shattered in homes due to the blast wave.
As the UOJ reported, the UOC hierarch of Khmelnytsky expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the shelling by the Russian Federation.
