Talks on a return to a comprehensive ceasefire in Donbass on the eve of Easter are in their final stages, President of Ukraine Vladimirr Zelensky said.

As reported on the official website of the President, Zelensky announced negotiations on the Donbass issue during his visit to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on April 27.

“The meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group, primarily the working group on security issues, will continue on April 27. It seems to me that all parties have already agreed on everything. But only the documentary wording of this agreement hasn’t been done yet. We really want this to happen. I really wish there could be no shots, no deaths on Easter. For this end, the Ukrainian side has already done everything,” the Head of State noted.

Earlier, the Chancellor of the UOC called on all parties to the conflict to make every possible and impossible effort to prevent the development of a new war.
