Klitschko announces lifting restrictions in Kyiv from May 1

The mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko said that a number of quarantine restrictions will be lifted in the capital from May 1, reports “Politika Strany” ("Politics of the Country") on Telegram.

According to the mayor of the city, from the 1st day, restrictions on the operation of transport, trade and catering establishments will no longer be in effect. Gyms and markets will also open.

From May 5, educational institutions will return to normal operation.

However, the official decision on this matter should be made by the State Commission for Emergency Situations.

Earlier, the head of the State Food and Consumer Service of Kyiv, Oleg Ruban, said that additional measures would be introduced on Easter to ensure quarantine restrictions.
