Holy Synod: The congress of UOC monasticism to be held at Pochayiv Lavra

At a meeting of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which took place on May 12, 2021 in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, it was decided to hold a congress of monasticism this year, the Information and Educational Center of the UOC reports.

The Holy Dormition Pochayiv Lavra was chosen as a venue for the congress.

As the UOJ reported, the meeting was chaired by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine. The hierarchs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church have assessed the challenges facing the UOC today and addressed personnel and other issues of the life of the Church.
