American lawyer for the UOC Robert Amsterdam reacted to the survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) on the topic "What should be the policy of the authorities and trust in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate)". In his X status, the lawyer called it fraudulent.
Amsterdam commented on the results of this survey, emphasizing: "A fraudulent poll where the question made it sound like the Church was Moscow based."
The lawyer is astounded "how folks fall for this propaganda to justify the beating of priests and destruction of a Church."
The UOC lawyer called such a reaction both amazing and shameful at the same time.
According to the KIIS survey conducted in late April 2024, 83% of Ukrainians believe that the state should intervene in the activities of the UOC (MP) to some extent, while 63% believe that the UOC (MP) should be completely banned.
As the UOJ reported, Poturaev talked about how he could convince Americans who are hindering the ban on the UOC.
