People's Deputy from the Servant of the People party Maxym Buzhanskyi reacted to a post by his colleague from the Voice faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak regarding the possible voting on May 21 for the "ban on the Moscow church" (Bill No. 8371).

"Five years ago, we voted for hobbits from the 'Voice' party, with a zero rating already in 2020 year, to be immediately handed suspicion under Article 161 of the Criminal Code 'Incitement of religious discord' for such posts," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Zheleznyak reported that there was a break in the Rada because "two factions demand consideration of a bill to ban the Moscow church."

"My colleague Zheleznyak knows perfectly well that there is no Moscow church at all, but there are several million citizens, parishioners of the UOC, whom 'European Solidarity', 'Voice', and some of their partners in the Rada are trying to humiliate, under the guise of war," Buzhanskyi responded to the post by the "Voice" MP.

The MP added that it mainly concerns those same people whose houses in the east and south of Ukraine have been under Russian rocket and artillery fire day and night for two years.

As the UOJ wrote, Iryna Herashchenko from "European Solidarity" stated that Bill 8371 could be voted on that day.
