Georgian Patriarch congratulates His Beatitude Onuphry on the namesake day

Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II of All Georgia, Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi, Metropolitan of Pitsunda and Sukhumi-Abkhazia, congratulated the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, on the day of his namesake.
The text of the congratulatory letter was published by the website of the Department for External Church Relations (DECR) of the UOC.
“Please accept our heartfelt congratulations on the Day of your Namesake! Through the prayers of your heavenly patron, St. Onuphrius the Great, may the Lord send you good health and spiritual joy for further selfless service to God and the people,” the congratulation says.
As the UOJ reported, on June 25, 2021, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church celebrates the namesake day and the 50th anniversary of the monasticism of its Primate.
