Believers beaten again in Cherkasy near court where Bishop Theodosiy comes

The Cherkasy Eparchy showed a video of another radical action targeting UOC believers who came on June 27 to support Metropolitan Theodosiy of Cherkasy and Kaniv in court.
The video shows that the UOC hierarch had to pass through a crowd of provocateurs chanting: "Get the Moscow priest out!"
Regular participants in the "protests" against the head of the Cherkasy diocese brought provocative posters, which they hung on the courthouse fence and held in their hands.
Activists attacked UOC supporters, beating them. The police tried to prevent the radicals from starting a fight with the believers but were not always successful. UOC parishioners did their best to protect the bishop from aggression.
As reported by the UOJ, on June 27, 2024, the Prydniprovsky District Court of Cherkasy decided to place Metropolitan Theodosiy of Cherkasy and Kaniv under round-the-clock house arrest.
