On the tenth anniversary of the repose of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan), special prayers were offered for him in the churches of the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery and at the grave of the late Primate of the UOC. This was reported by the Lavra's website.

The early memorial liturgy in the Annunciation Church was conducted by the clergy of the Spiritual Council of the monastery, with the brethren in spiritual rank. After the service, a panikhida was held at the fraternal cemetery near the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, at the grave of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr.

Additionally, a memorial service was conducted in the Church of St. Agapitus of the Caves. A live broadcast was available on the monastery's YouTube channel.

During all the services, prayers were also offered for the fallen soldiers, the innocently killed, and all deceased Orthodox Christians.

"The ministry time of the sacred archimandrite Metropolitan Volodymyr was concurrent with the growth and flourishing of monastic life in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. Neither the brethren of the monastery nor the ordinary pilgrims will ever forget that it was common to see His Beatitude strolling through the Lavra, receiving his blessing, and simply seeking spiritual advice," the message said.

As reported earlier, an exhibition dedicated to Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan) was held at the Kyiv Theological Academy.
