On July 7, on the feast day of the Nativity of John the Baptist, Archbishop Nathanael (Krikota) of Volyn and Lutsk consecrated the Church of the "Quick to Hearken" Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Broniysia, where the previous temple was seized by supporters of the OCU, reports the website of the Volyn Eparchy.

After the consecration, Archbishop Nathanael led the Divine Liturgy in the new church.

With the blessing of the Primate, the bishop awarded the rector of the church in Bronitsa, Father Nazariy Priymak, the right to wear a cross with decorations.

Priests and believers prayed for peace in Ukraine and the unity of world Orthodoxy, as well as for an end to the epidemic.

After the Liturgy, Vladyka Nathanael noted the active parishioners with church awards and congratulated the believers in Bronytsia on the feast.

As reported, on January 21, 2019, supporters of the "transition" to the OCU in Bronytsia broke the locks on the UOC church and pushed the rector out of the church territory. Believers continued to gather for prayer, first in a rural house, then in a temporary church, and in November 2020, the construction of a new church began.
