The head of the OCU, Epiphany Dumenko, told what exactly the head of Phanar, Patriarch Bartholomew, will do during his visit to Ukraine, reports the YouTube channel Suspilne Karpaty.

According to Dumenko, the visit of Patriarch Bartholomew is "state-church", as it will take place "at the invitation of the state and the Ukrainian Church" within the framework of the celebration of "the proclamation of Ukraine's independence."

The head of Phanar will take part in a joint liturgy with Dumenko, and then "meet with the leaders of the state," Epiphany said.

In addition, according to him, Patriarch Bartholomew will meet with representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, the public and youth.

Dumenko stressed that the head of Phanar is called the "Green Patriarch", and therefore he will take part in the events dedicated to the preservation of the environment.

“Such a tight schedule of his visit is being arranged for now. Of course, communication with journalists is also expected,” said the head of the OCU.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Patriarch Bartholomew received Petro Poroshenko at Phanar.
