Ukrainian politician and public figure Ihor Mosiychuk stated that the adoption of the anti-church bill 8371 would be a sabotage against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

"After all, money, weapons, and EU membership will be reduced to zero!" wrote the former deputy, noting that former President Petro Poroshenko is using the bill to ban the UOC to raise his own ratings despite understanding its consequences. According to him, such manipulation of the situation harms Ukraine's national interests.

Mosiychuk points out that the agitation over the ban on the UOC benefits Poroshenko, who, understanding the described consequences, pushes for the ban. He is doing everything possible, including campaigning for the adoption of Bill No. 8371.

As reported by the UOJ, in 2018, the creator of the OCU, Petro Poroshenko, was accused of treason and aiding terrorism.
