Papal envoy Cardinal Zuppi to visit Ukraine

Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Olena Kondratiuk, announced the upcoming visit to Ukraine of the head of the Italian episcopate and the head of the Vatican's special mission related to the war in Ukraine, Cardinal Matteo Zuppi. She wrote about this on her Facebook page after meeting with the cardinal.

She reported that Zuppi, on behalf of Pope Francis, is involved in issues of prisoner swaps and the return of deported Ukrainian children. On behalf of the Parliament, the deputy thanked the papal envoy for his mission.

As reported by the UOJ, the visit of the Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Parolin, to Ukraine has also been announced.
