Trump after attempt: "God alone prevented the unthinkable from happening"

U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that he had survived an assassination attempt thanks to the intervention of the Lord God.

Trump expressed his gratitude for the support after the attempt on his life at a campaign event in Pennsylvania, declaring that it is "God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening."

Trump expressed gratitude for the support following the assassination attempt on Truth Social platform, saying, “We will fear not, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness.”

Trump called for national unity and strength, urging Americans to stand together and show their true character.

"In this moment, it is more important than ever that we stand united, and show our true character as Americans, remaining strong and determined, and not allowing evil to win," he stated.

He also extended his sympathies to other victims and their families, as well as his prayers for the recovery of the wounded.

In Pennsylvania, during Donald Trump's campaign rally in Butler, there was a shooting. Trump was injured, but his life is not in danger. Trump's spokesperson reported that he is feeling well and is undergoing examination at a local medical facility.

According to CNN, citing law enforcement agencies, the shooter was neutralized. The shooting resulted in one death and two participants being seriously injured.

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) stated that the incident was an attempted assassination of Donald Trump. The gunman is identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, who was killed during the incident.

Previously, the UOJ reported that Trump Jr. referred to Zelensky as the "high priest of Ukraine".
