On July 16, 2021, the Podilsk District Court of Kyiv satisfied the claim of the Miriane public union, created by the believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, on the inaction of the National Police to investigate the facts of inciting religious hatred and hostility by the official of the Lviv Regional State Administration Dmitry Gorevoy, a propagandist of the OCU. The Miriane reported this on its Telegram channel.
“The court found the police inaction unlawful and ordered the Podilsk police department of Kyiv to enter in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations information about the commission by the head of the Department of Religions and Nationalities of the Lviv Regional State Administration Dmitry Gorevoy of the crime under Article 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – incitement to religious enmity and hatred,” the public union reported.
The “laity” hope that the leadership of the Lviv Regional State Administration will react to the facts about Gorevoy and dismiss him due to the mismatch of his position as a civil servant.
As reported by the UOJ, the "Miriane" called on the Lviv Regional State Administration to fire the official who incites hostility.
