The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy is working on returning the Pochaiv and Sviatohirsk Lavras, as well as many other objects, to state management, said acting Minister of Culture Rostyslav Karandeyev in an interview with Ukrinform.

"Today we are conducting significant work in the Pochaiv Lavra, the Sviatohirsk Lavra, and other objects, particularly in the 'Ancient Chernihiv' Reserve, a large part of which was also used by the UOC Moscow Patriarchate. We are working on returning these objects to state management," he said.

The official expressed confidence that the state has made the right decisions, which assess certain religious figures, and tasked his department with clearing the cultural space of imperial narratives.

As the UOJ reported, a commission from the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine visited the Holy Dormition Sviatohirsk Lavra on July 16.
