MP from the European Solidarity party Volodymyr Viatrovych said on air of the Espresso TV channel that his political force plans to again block the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada if Bill 8371, which actually bans the activities of the UOC, will not be put to a vote in the session hall of the Parliament.

“We do not remove our demand to ban the UOC (MP), which was formulated at the last meeting of the Verkhovna Rada. That is, it is with the consideration of this bill should the next session of the Parliament begin. As far as we know, this is planned for August. If there are any attempts to change the previous agreement again, we will return to the blockade of the rostrum. Without the implementation of this bill, we will continue to expose Ukraine and Ukrainians to danger from the structure that works for Russia,” he said.

As reported by the UOJ, earlier, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, said that the next meeting of the Verkhovna Rada would be held as soon as MPs had worked out the final version of the draft law on the cessation of the UOC’s activity in Ukraine.
