On July 29, 2021, the Chernivtsi Court of Appeal overturned the decision of the Zastavna District Court in the case of the “transfer” of the religious community in the village of Zadubrivka, Chernivtsi region, adopted in favour of the OCU, as reported on the Facebook page of the Zadubrivka community of the UOC.

On May 12, the court of first instance refused to cancel the illegal re-registration of the community of the canonical Church in the OCU, which actually legalized its raider seizure.

The believers did not agree with this and sent appeals to the court, asking to cancel this decision, close the proceedings, and send the case to the Economic Court of Kyiv.

The decision of the Chernivtsi Court of Appeal in case No. 716/741/20, which reverses the decision ruled in favour of the OCU, will be made public within the timeframe established by law.

As reported, parishioners of the persecuted UOC community in Zadubrivka have been guarding the church against raiders for the third year in a row and at the congress “The Faithful” told the details of the OCU follows' attack.
